Bell joins Diageo as head of global demand procurement, according to a spokesperson from the alcohol giant. She will relocate to London from Bangkok.

The appointment sees Bell replace Kester Fielding, who in August moved to Bacardi as head of commercial procurement.

Bell is the second major appointment for Diageo’s marketing department to come from a position in Asia. James Thompson, formerly chief marketing officer for the region, became global managing director for Diageo Reserve Brands in 2013.

Bell served at L’Oréal for just over four years. Prior to that, the held senior positions at GroupM. She could not be reached for comment by press time.
