Rice is responsible for IDC's on-going strategic counsel, issues tracking and media engagement. The agency will cover Singapore, Hong Kong, India and Australia, and will also facilitate access to IDC’s data, reports and commentary on current issues and trends.

The agency is tasked with supporting IDC's work via advancing its communications activities, said Jason Gorud, vice-president, integrated marketing programs, IDC Asia-Pacific

"We look forward to working with the IDC team in the region to further strengthen its presence as a thought leader in the region and guide business decisions for many businesses in the IT market,” said Sonya Madeira, managing partner at Rice Communications.
