Hero Honda | Twister | India

Hero Honda's Karizma ZMR motorbike is the ultimate boy's toy in India, launching with a TV campaign featuring Bollywood mega-star Hrithik Roshan.

Combining talents from South Africa, Malaysia and Singapore, JWT Delhi and production company Bang Bang Films Mumbai pit macho man against nature in an on-screen combat scenario. The ad starts off with Roshan choosing between his expensive machines, when a twister flies by and takes his cap. Not willing to let the twister have its way, Roshan leaps onto his Karizma ZMR and gives chase.

Despite limited time, budget and resources, the commercial is packed with realistic computer graphics and action sequences. “When we first looked at the job we felt we would have to go to the States or London to get the results we wanted, but both time and budget prevented us from pursuing that option” commented director Lourens van Rensburg, director at 7 Films.

Hero Honda is a joint venture with Delhi-based bicycle and related products manufacturer Hero Group and Honda in Japan. Hero Honda is the largest two-wheeled motor vehicles manufacturer in the world.
