Grey Mumbai appoints Kavita Gadkari as VP planning

MUMBAI - Grey Mumbai has appointed Kavira Gadkari as its vice-president of planning.

Gadkari joins from Stellar Search in Dubai. She also spent 15 years at FCB Ulka, Mumbai in India, working with clients including Tata Motors, Amul Ice Cream, ITC and Johnson & Johnson.

Gadkari is credited with developing the positioning 'Real milk. Real ice-cream' for Amul, which continues to fuel the brand today.

On Kavita’s appointment, Bindu Sethi, chief strategy planning officer at Grey Asia-Pacific, said, “Kavita’s experience and accomplishments in business development, coupled with her people skills will add significant value to our clients’ businesses.” 

Gadkari added, "As the saying goes, once an advertising woman, always an advertising woman. The buzz beckoned me back to this big and not-so-bad world of advertising.  I am driven by the passion of it all.”
