Grey appoints senior digital creative director in India

MUMBAI – Grey Digital India has hired Navin Kansal (pictured) as its senior creative director.

Kansal, who has won numerous regional awards over the course of his 13-year career, has worked at Ogilvy One for the past nine years.

In a statement, he indicated that it was time for a “fresh beginning” and expressed excitement at the prospect of working with brands such as Volkswagen (VW), which recently appointed Grey to handle its digital account in the market.

Kansal will report to Sudhir Nair, the agency’s vice-president for South Asia.

During his time at Ogilvy One, Kansal worked with clients such as Unilever, Cadbury, Perfetti Van Melle, Hutch, Tata Safari and The Economist. His work has been recognised at Spikes Asia and the Digital Media Awards among other shows.

In addition to VW, major accounts at Grey Digital India include Adobe, Deutsche Bank, Infosys and ITC.
