Golin Singapore today announced its purchase of creative content agency Hurrah Productions.

The agency will become part of Golin Singapore, and bring its visual branded-content skills to the PR agency’s new digital, analytics and creative team, which is designed to combine creative and insights for better client outcomes.

Founded in 2008 by James Rotheram, Hurrah’s client portfolio includes Netflix, Aston Martin, UD Trucks and Jetstar. Rotheram will be executive director at Golin, and says: “Bringing our offering alongside Golin’s in earned and owned media is an exciting prospect and we think we have something very special to offer brands.”

Tarun Deo, Golin managing director for Singapore and Southeast Asia, said visual storytelling is a key component of Golin’s “progressive PR” strategy.

“With Hurrah Productions’ strong reputation in the industry, keen eye for creative detail and amazing culture, I believe they will be a fantastic addition to the Golin Singapore team, as we continue to be the nice guys who kick ass,” he added.

"Yes, visual is becoming a huge part of what we do. But we’re now also talking about data informing the creative so that it becomes sharper and better suited for creating an audience. So the before and after pieces are very important in terms of “elevating” visual content."
