If your MacBook Air is particularly self conscious then tell it to look away now, as Toshiba’s Portege Z830 may very well induce a major bout of depression. Measuring a wafer-thin 15.9mm at its thickest point, the 17mm MacBook Air and the 16.3mm Samsung Series 9 notebooks can only look on in envy as Tosh miraculously crams in a 128GB SSD, backlit keyboard, 6GB RAM and a 13.3in matte screen in to the 1.12kg body.  Read more...

Aiptek iH3 3D camcorder shoots and scores with £230 price tag

Have Sony, LG and Panasonic's IFA announcements left you wanting more 3D gadgets? Try the Aiptek iH3 3D camcorder on for size. There are two 5MP sensors on board and you can record stills and full HD video in both 2D and 3D. It might not be in the same league as the Panasonic HDC-Z10000 but the 3.2in display will play back your images in glasses free 3D or you can pop the bundled 3D glasses on and stick the footage on your 2D TV, PC or projector.  Read more...
