FreemanXP China announced another round of senior hires for its China office, this time with Steven Yu coming on board as general manager for Shanghai and Estelle Wong as client services director. The news comes shortly after the agency named Kestrel Lee as its ECD for China last month.

According to a statement by the brand experience agency, the new team will be made up of expertise from retail, events, digital, social media and e-commerce. The team has also recently won a string of accounts with clients including Starbucks, Ubisoft, Visa and L’Oreal.

Prior to joining FreemanXP, Yu worked across several disciplines such as advertising, digital marketing, and brand PR for brands like SK-II, Lenovo and Hennesy. Wong, meanwhile, is experienced in B2B client relationship management, digital marketing, data analytics and offline digital activation.

Dionne Holder, managing director, said the new hires are key to the agency’s China expansion. “Steven, Kestrel and Estrel are highly experienced in developing and maintaining client relationships. Their appointments are timely as we strive to grow in our offerings of creative-driven designs and unparalleled consumer services, to help brands create unforgettable and measurable experience,” said Holder.
