Fox International appoints Text 100 as its PR agency in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR - Fox International Channels (FIC) has appointed Text 100 as its PR agency to promote and strengthen its brands in Malaysia

The agency will be providing strategic communications services for FIC and the channels it manages in Malaysia including National Geographic Channel, National Geographic Channel HD, Fox, Star World, Star Movies, and FX in high definition. 

The agency will roll out intensive trade communication activities to extend FIC’s success stories to the local and regional media communities. 

“Malaysia is one of the fastest growing markets for Fox International Channels in Asia," said the Kuala Lumpur based Basil Chua, director and territory head of Fox International Channels. "As the leading international multi-channel broadcaster in Malaysia, we are committed to continue building our brands and further our emotional connections with partners and the millions of viewers.” 

“FIC is an exciting global brand for Text 100 to work with and a great addition to our existing consumer portfolio,” said Yeow Mei Ling, managing consultant, at Text 100 Malaysia.

She added, “FIC is our first broadcast network client in Malaysia, and we are excited by the opportunities to foster a strategic relationship and jointly break new grounds for bigger successes.”

Text 100 officially started work on 2 August, and is currently planning towards some immediate activities. These include promoting a special programming campaign entitled
'A Nation Rises: Malaysia' in conjunction with Malaysia’s 53rd National Day celebration.
