Former MSN China editor-in-chief joins ifeng.com

BEIJING – Liu Shu, former editor-in-chief of MSN China, has been appointed as vice-president and editor-in-chief by ifeng.com, the new media offering of Phoenix Satellite Television.

The appointment was announced internally last week. Liu, who left MSN in November, will still be based in Beijing. The position has been vacant since Wang Wei, Liu's predecessor, left for financial news portal hexun.com in June.

Liu is an experienced journalist. Prior to MSN, she also worked at Sina.com and Beijing Morning News.
