A Standard Chatered veteran of 10 years, Ho (pictured)  has held a number of international positions based in Hong Kong, Singapore and London. These include roles as executive assistant to the group CEO and head of Standard Chartered's creative industries group, specialising in commercial banking solutions for the media and entertainment industries.

Ho has been responsible for developing and executing Standard Chartered’s brand strategy in over 70 markets, including the new global brand position, “Here for good” which launched globally in 2010, and the signing of the sponsorship of Liverpool Football Club.

Ho was also responsible for pioneering Standard Chartered’s film-financing in Asia, with the bank backing productions such as  Zhang Yimou’s Curse of the Golden Flower, John Woo’s Red Cliff and The Weinstein Brothers’ Asian Film Fund.

Reported earlier this year, Ho took six months' sabbatical leave from the company starting in February.

Ho began her career in advertising, working for Wunderman, Young & Rubicam in New York and Foote, Cone & Belding Asia-Pacific.

“Susan brings extensive expertise in brand and corporate reputation, digital media development, communication and banking,” Tim Payne, Brunswick’s managing partner in Asia said.

“Her international experience further strengthens Brunswick’s global offer and our commitment to deliver senior-level, high quality strategic advice to Chinese companies to engage in the global world and multinational companies engaging in China market.”

Brunswick expanded its operations in China with a new office in Shanghai this year with nine partners in its China team, building on its seven year platform in Hong Kong and Beijing with a client portfolio of Gome, Citibank, Sinopac, Baidu, Gucci, ENN Energy Group and a range of financial institutes.

Brunswick has also supported a number of high profile events recently, driving communications for Chow Tai Fook and PCCW’s HKT listings in Hong Kong.

The agency was ranked by Mergermarkets as the top global merger and acquisition communications advisor in 2010 and 2009, alongside its standing as one of the region’s top crisis and financial communication specialists.
