Chien and Lee, both group creative directors formerly with DDB Taiwan, will report to Gary Chi, managing director of McCann Taiwan, and Eliot Lin, managing director of McCann Beijing, respectively.

Chien will work with current co-ECD Kevin Yang to drive creative excellence in McCann Taiwan for clients such as Darlie, Kao, Coke, Nestle, Loreal, Chimei and Subway. Lee's new role will see him work on McCann Beijing's client portfolio, which includes MasterCard, Subway, China Fortune Land Development, Beijing MTR, Bank of China and Dragon China.

McCann Worldgroup has made a series of senior creative appointments over the past six months. In Shanghai, Charlise Chen joined as ECD of Greater China for Momentum Worldwide while Martin Lee transferred from McCann Thailand to take up the role of chief creative officer in Shanghai.

These creative appointments are "core to the transformation of the network in Greater China", according to Jesse Lin, CEO of McCann Worldgroup Greater China, and signifies the completion of the agency's plan to "establish an inspiring and exciting creative leadership team" in the region.
