As part of the agency's creative rejunevation plan, this is its second major creative appointment, after Ng Heok Seong came in as executive creative director in August. Both Ng and Foo were previously with Lowe Kuala Lumpur.

Having previously worked at M&C Saatchi, FCB, JWT and Y&R, Foo’s client portfolio includes Toyota, Unilever, Sony, HSBC, Celcom Mobile, Nike, IKEA, Standard Chartered, Panasonic, Samsung, Tiger Beer, Olympus, Ericsson, Axe, Shell, Ford, Alliance Bank, Breeze, Nestle (Frutips, Kit Kat, Alpo & Friskies), Fujifilm and Maybank Fortis.

He has also been awarded at shows such Kancil, Adfest and Spikes Asia, for IKEA and Cerebos.

Commenting on the appointment, Andrew Lee, managing director at Euro RSCG Malaysia, said, “We are excited to have Ezra and Seong on board. Their chemistry is undeniable and I am expecting great things from their partnership, and believe their creative firepower will add great value to our clients’ integrated marketing plans.”

Foo, meanwhile, added, “I am thrilled to be working with Seong once again. We both believe advertising should be engaging and experimental, and I know we can continue to create great campaigns together.”

Earlier in August, executive creative director Kit Ong was tipped to leave EURO RSCG Malaysia to join Y&R. His appointment as the executive creative director at Y&R Vietnam was later confirmed in October.
