Euro RSCG Beijing won the Vicutu account through a competitive pitch against a number of undisclosed 4A agencies. The Euro team will now be in charge of the branding and advertising for Vicutu, whose main products include canvas and wool/ cashmere suits, coats and casual jackets for men.

Established in 1995, Vicutu has over 240 directly-controlled and franchised retail outlets in 30 major cities across China. It has in excess of 50,000 global members and VIP customers. According to Euro RSCG, the client is expanding with a year-on-year sales increase of 30 per cent.

The Dong-E E-Jiao win, which also followed a pitch against six other agencies, sees Euro RSCG Beijing charged with the advertising and rebranding for a more affluent demographic.

The Shandong-based Dong-E E-Jiao Group was established in 1953, producing mainly Chinese herbal medicine and health products. E Jiao improves blood circulation and has been highly regarded as a female beauty product for centuries. The company also produces processed traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), health food and beverages and bio-pharmaceuticals.

"At Euro RSCG China we pride ourselves on a deep understanding of Chinese brands and how they connect with Chinese consumers. Winning the business of a Chinese icon like Dong-E E-Jiao reflects our strong offering in these areas," said James Chen, managing director at Euro RSCG Beijing.
