Dwyane Wade, Serena Williams get laughs for Gatorade

From the US: 'Sweat with the best' by TBWA\Chiat\Day LA for Gatorade

Dwyane Wade, Serena Williams get laughs for Gatorade

As reported by Campaign US, this summer, Gatorade is offering 50 youths the opportunity to train with prominent ahtletes in the brand's first under-the-cap promotion. The five spots by TBWA\Chiat\Day LA sport a confident teenager who brags about his imagined athletic prowess before being chided in real life by the athlete in question.

Ad Nut thinks its risky putting athletes in ads because sometimes they're just not good actors. At all. But in this series, Dwyane Wade, Serena Williams, NFL quarterback Peyton Manning (admittedly the veteran of approximately a billion TV commercials) and racer Jimmie Johnson all aquit themselves quite well, coming across as natural and funny.
