Dentsu Media wins Indosat’s US$20 million media business

JAKARTA – Dentsu Media Indonesia has picked up telco giant Indosat’s media business following a major pitch.

The media planning and buying, estimated to be worth between US$15-$20 million, was awarded to Dentsu Media following a pitch between Mindshare, Mediacom, MPG, Activate and CS Media.

Incumbent of eight years, DDB - Optima media, chose not to pitch.

Indosat’s creative business was awarded to JWT and MACS909 , also following a pitch. Incumbent DDB also declined to participate in the creative pitch.

Dentsu Indonesia will handle Indosat’s media planning and buying from 1 January 2011.
