DDB appoints group business director for HK, Guangzhou

HONG KONG - DDB Group has hired Alexis Chiu as group business director for Hong Kong and Guangzhou. Chiu joined the agency in mid January and will report to Simone Tam, MD of DDB Hong Kong and Guangzhou.

Chiu will be responsible for managing and overseeing a range of clients in DDB Hong Kong's portfolio.

He has worked at many 4A agencies including McCann Erickson, Draft FCB, Dentsu and Grey, with extensive advertising and client service experiences across many industries from FMCG and beauty to skincare and finance. Past clients include Mastercard, Carlsberg, Coca-Cola, Standard Chartered Bank, P&G, Acuvue and Elements.

Prior to joining DDB, Chiu was business director at McCann Erickson Guangming for over seven years.
