The appointment was made early this month. MSL will work with Beam Global Asia to provide media and corporate engagement across six brands under the company’s portfolio: Courvoisier cognac; Japanese whisky range and The Premium Malt’s Beer under Suntory; and premium Scotch single malts Auchentoshan, Bowmore and Glen Garioch under Morrison Bowmore Distillers.

A spokesperson from Beam Global Asia noted that it is a new segmentation of brands portfolio under Beam Global Asia, for a new PR agency pitch. It is also MSL's first strategic communications partnership with Beam Global.

Kelvin Yeo, managing director of MSL Singapore, noted that the agency's consumer marketing team has a track record in the alcoholic beverage space. “Apart from our experience and expertise, we look forward to bringing strong strategic direction to each brand and grow their presence in Singapore through our insights-driven creative story-telling narratives that will deliver sound key messages which resonate with the desired audience,” he added.

Beam Global Asia is owned by Beam Global Spirits & Wines, whose flagship brand, Jim Beam, dates back to 1795. Last year, the company retained Fulford PR for its brown spirits portfolio, including The Macallan, Highland Park and Famous Grouse, for the seventh consecutive year.
