BBC appoints Albert to drive online ad sales in Asia

ASIA-PACIFIC - BBC Worldwide has appointed Inez Albert, formerly regional sales director at Forbes,com, as digital sales director for Asia.

Reporting to Sunita Rajan, vice-president of sales for Asia and Australasia, advertising sales, Albert will be charged with driving regional advertising sales on BBC.com, the corporation’s advertising-funded arm aimed at an international audience. The BBC is understood to be looking to attract a greater number of Asian advertisers to the site.

Prior to her stint at Forbes, Albert also worked as marketing director for the Wall Street Journal Asia and as sales director at Wall Street Journal-owned investment news service Barrons.
