Batey will be responsible for the creative work on various brands and properties of ESS. This is the first major win for the agency since it became part of Grey Group.

The first assignment for Batey was the launch of ESPNews, the first 24-hour sports news channel dedicated to Asian sports fans. The channel is a rolling feed of highlights, scores, updates and comprehensive sports information from local, regional and international sporting events. Batey has worked on the launch to develop an integrated campaign including print, online and outdoor.

According to Subbaraju Alluri, CEO Grey Group Singapore, the partnership with ESS offers Batey an opportunity to do engaging creative work.

“We are thrilled to work with ESS. It is such a great brand, and the products that it is offering are always innovative and relevant. We are looking forward to producing memorable advertising campaigns for it,” said Alluri.

Paras Sharma, senior director, marketing and corporate communications, ESS, said the brand was looking for "insightful, creative and effective communication for our various brands and assets”.
