Asustek Computer appoints Trends as the communication agency for Republic of Gamers

BEIJING - Trends Communications Group, a Beijing-based communications agency, has been appointed for the entire portfolio of computer manufacturer brand Asustek Computer’s Republic of Gamers (ROG).

Asustek is a Taiwanese company that produces computer components that are mainly known under the name of Asus. Trends has taken the ROG communications business after a pitch that involves both local and international agencies. CEO Guo Lei has confirmed the news.

ROG Asustek's gaming product line that includes hardware and services for personal computer solutions.

Trends is to position ROG in the premium gaming sector. Lei said the IT sector is very mature in China. “In the partnership with Asustek Computer, we hope to establish a benchmark in communications for the IT sector. We are also determined to provide quality services to more customers in the industry.”
