Andy Xu takes general manager role at JWT Beijing

BEIJING - Andy Xu (pictured) has been promoted to general manager for JWT Beijing, effective immediately.

Xu will report to North Asia area director and Greater China CEO Tom Doctoroff, and work closely alongside Polly Chu, chief creative officer, Rich Shiue, ECD, and Dan Ingall, multinational client services director.

Xu joined JWT in 2004 and was most recently the deputy general manager of JWT Beijing. “I am lucky to have such an energetic and professional team. The mutual understanding and the confidence we have cultivated over the years will be a great benefit as we elevate the agency and take JWT into the future,” he said.

JWT Beijing's current clients include Yili, COFCO, Nokia, Shell, Nestle, Halls, Baixiang Food and Jasonwood. China Unicom recently added to the list.

In February this year, JWT Beijing saw the departure of former managing director Eddy Fu.
