To report to Bob Grove, managing director at Edelman Southeast Asia, Goh will be responsible for overseeing the Edelman Singapore office, which employs more than 80 employees and offers services in corporate reputation management, crisis, consumer brand, financial services, digital and health communications.

This appointment also marks Goh’s return to Singapore after four years at Edelman New York, where she led teams and clients on multinational assignments.

“Amanda is returning to an operation that has grown four-fold in seven years and leads the local PR market in revenue," Grove said. "Amanda is passionate about people and developing research-based insights. Her deep understanding of the Singapore market, coupled with her rich international experience, will help to elevate our team and offering even further."

In Singapore, Goh was previously the head of the corporate practice.

Russell Dubner, president at Edelman New York, said Goh has helped in the effort to make New York a global hub and she will remain "a bridge across our network" in her new role.

With more than 15 years of international experience in corporate and consumer communications in Singapore, Australia, London and New York, Goh has been with Edelman for 10 years. She has led client assignments spanning Southeast Asia, Europe, Brazil and North America, with a focus on c-suite consulting, thought leadership, emerging market entry communications and B-to-B marketing.

David Brain, president at Edelman Asia-Pacific, noted that creating opportunities for employees to move throughout the network has been a key to Edelman’s success both regionally and globally.

“Amanda is a perfect example," he said. "She has taken on every leadership opportunity with tenacity and will make a powerful contribution to our team.”

Commenting on her appointment, Goh said, “Edelman Singapore has a fantastic senior bench and deep expertise across six practice areas and will continue to be a global hub for us to ground our best people, thinking and insights.”
