SINGAPORE - AllProperty Media and Redberry have signed a joint venture to develop a property portal in Malaysia.

All Property Media and Redberry form joint venture

Allproperty Media, parent company of websites, PropertyGuru.com.sg, Loanguru.com and CommercialGuru.com.sg, have formed a joint venture to launch Homeguru.my, a property portal for Malaysia.

The partnership will see Redberry providing a relevant cross-media platform and strategic business marketing solutions for All Property Media’s expansion into Malaysia.

Under the joint venture Redberry will hold a stake in All Property Media’s Malaysian entity; the latter will invest cash, technology, branding, sales and marketing, platforms, products, internet and real estate expertise.

All Property Media will also gain access to Redberry’s various media platforms, comprising The Malay Mail, The Malaysian Reserve, Bernama TV and out-of-home TV digital media such as Focus Media, as well as outdoor media on buses and in airports.

“As well as leveraging Redberry's extensive media reach, we see exciting opportunities to collaborate editorially," stated Steve Melhuish, CEO All Property Media.

The announcement of this partnership comes a week after news that All Property Media had agreed to acquire Full House Media, owner of North Malaysia’s top property portal, Fullhouse.com.my, to further its expansion into Penang and the other northern states.
