The PR project was awarded following a three-way pitch with undisclosed agencies.

The Adizero global product launch, introducing a new tech material enhancement for lightness of wear in Adidas sports shoes, was held on 4 January. The Hong Kong launch is due for next week.

The new product enhancement will be rolled out across the brand's running, tennis, basketball, football and rugby shoe collections.

Elite Step Asia will take on PR, media relations and hospitality duties for the launch.

According to the PR agency, one of the main launch events on 12 January will be hosted onboard a Star Cruise ship in order to emphasise the lightness of Adizero technology in Adidas running shoes, similar to like running on water.

Adidas has also invited a number of local sports celebrities, including basketball player Chau Pakho, runners Ella Koon and Gi Ka Man, football players Louis Cheung and Lo Kwan Yee and basketball player Liang Man Hung to join the launch event.
