VIDEO: Intel's latest Visual Life features Batik

INDONESIA: Intel and Amsterdam Worldwide have teamed up again to produce the third instalment of Intel's Visual Life blogger profile films. This time, the five-minute film, called Batik Fractal, showcases Indonesia.

The feature centres around young entrepreneur and batik designer, Nancy Margried, and explores how technology is revolutionising even traditional arts like batik production.

Although the traditional hand printing and dyeing processes remain untouched, Nancy and her team use 3D mathematical software to create new ‘fractal’ designs.

The film will be launched in Indonesia this week.

The campaign's two previous profile films featuring New York celebrity fashion blogger The Sartorialist and China's wedding photographers and bloggers, Kitty & Lala, have both received global critical acclaim and earned over 12 million views across 198 countries.
