AlmapBBDO's 873-image stop-motion film for Getty goes viral

BRAZIL - AlmapBBDO's 60-second stop-motion advertisement for Getty Images has become the latest YouTube viral phenomenon, with more than 400,000 views and counting.

Titled 'From love to Bingo', the commercial shows 873 of Getty's stock images at a rate of 15 images per second to tell a lifetime's story.

"Patient research work involving more than 5,000 photographs resulted in a one minute film that AlmapBBDO created to advertise Getty Images, the world leading image database for creating and distributing visual contents," reads the video description on YouTube.

The agency's copywriter, Sophie Schoenburg, and art director Marcus Kotlhar trawled through Getty's database for six months, improving the script and building each scene.

The film was directed by Cisma, via Paranoid BR, along with Marcos Kotlhar, the art director at the agency.
