VIDEO: DraftFCB global CEO, APAC president on regional management changes

According to Boschetto, the main reason behind the management changes is coming into the second phase of the merger between Draft and FCB in 2006.

He added that the first four years is about assimilating the organisation, developing goals for the market and implementing the merged organisation's principles and philosophies on a global level.

"Over the four years, a number of people have risen to the occasion and done an amazing job. We were looking at the organisation across 96 offices, and identified 10 offices as the most important with China being one of them," he said.

Previously, Pacchini was the network's president for Greater China. "What we really want to do is to establish China as a hub," said Boschetto. He added that naturally Pacchini stood out as the best candidate to run the region.

Going forward, the DraftFCB leaders said that in addition to bringing in new people and a number of new partnerships, there are also a number of acquisitions they are looking at.
