'Music battle' marks the first music show produced by TVB.com.

Between January and June, three bands will be chosen to play during a live performance with well-know artists each month.

The show debuts on 7 January, featuring indie bands Killer Soap, Senseless and ToNick playing alongside Hong Kong music producer and drummer Jun Kung and DJ Eugene Pao at the Langham Place Hotel in Mongkok.

Podcasts will also be available for download on the website following the show and bands can upload their performance videos on the show's dedicated site for people to watch.

"We would focus not only on providing online promotion to our advertising clients, but a total marketing solution across all platforms which includes online, TV, press mobile and event," said Catherine Lee, marketing manager at TVB.com.

This adds to San Miguel's repertoire of  music-related marketing campaigns, including the popular 'Wild day out' campaign.
