Tokyu Agency and Tribal Worldwide partner to launch digital innovation service for Japan

TOKYO - Tokyu Agency and Tribal Worldwide have partnered to launch Tag Tribal, a digital innovation unit, in Tokyo.

The company will provide services such as content production, digital platform development, data management and ecommerce.

Tag Tribal will be led by Toshiya Ichikawa. In a statement, Ichikawa described the unit as a “digital innovation division to create and deliver world-class innovative solutions for clients”.

“We want to help Tokyu Agency clients see and take to a new future in marketing engagement,” he said. “In Tribal Worldwide, we have a partner with strong creative and technology capabilities to apply cutting-edge, best-in-class digital solutions.”

Jeff Cheong, head of Tribal Worldwide, said he believed the partnership was timely “to help businesses in Japan take to innovation marketing”.

Tokyu Agency is part of Tokyu Group, a Tokyo-based conglomerate made up of 220 companies.
