Makmun has been named chairwoman and advisor to the CEO.

Cullum was most recently CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Russia since July 2008. In his new role, Cullum will lead the agency in Jakarta and manage new business interests in the region. He will report to Chris Foster, chairman and regional CEO.

“Shannon Cullum’s record of success combined with passion for new ideas and understanding of our unique market will see him make an invaluable contribution to our agency and the development of client relationships in APAC," Foster said.

During Cullum’s tenure in Moscow, the agency more than doubled in size, and a campaign for Schusey State Museum of Architecture picked up more than 60 awards in 2013, according to the agency.

This is not Cullum’s first stint in Asia. Prior to Russia, he spent five years with Saatch & Saatchi in Asia, managing account operations regionally for the Procter & Gamble laundry and Danone food and beverage businesses in China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. He has also handled Aqua, Biskuat, Milkuat and Mizone in Indonesia.
