What is your current state of mind?
Exhaustion mingled with excitement. 2010 is definitely the year of opportunity for Euro RSCG in Asia.

What is your greatest fear?

Not understanding the world my children will live in.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

Apathy.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Conceit.

Who is your hero?

My wife for dealing with my whims and for being the rock at home.

On what occasion do you lie?

When I convince myself that I’ll open a bottle of wine and only have one glass.

Name one thing about yourself that few people know.
I have a detailed knowledge of depilatory techniques thanks to years of competitive cycling.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

Tech terms and acronyms.

What talent would you most like to have?

To play the guitar.

What’s your most evocative childhood memory?

When I first stood up on a surfboard. I’m sure it was a foot high and onshore but I felt like I was at Pipe.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

My three daughters.

What is your most marked characteristic?

Competitiveness.

Which historical figure do you most identify with and why?

Duke Kahanamoku. Olympic gold medallist who introduced Australia to surfing on Freshwater beach in 1914. One can only hope to be as international in perspective, remain culturally sensitive and yet still change the world for the better.

What makes you happy?

Saturdays at home in Singapore.

When did you last cry and why?

Seeing my wife walk down the aisle on my wedding day. She was and will always remain the most beautiful woman in the world for me.

What is your greatest regret?

Every time I chose work over family. I had to do it, but I can see more clearly now.

If your office was burning down, what object would you save and why?

My iPhone. Hey, I'm a digital guy and I could use it to call the fire brigade.

What’s your best joke?

Not mine but hilarious nonetheless: That England will win another Rugby World Cup.
