The updated site aims to build the brand by offering an enhanced user experience and promoting an elegant yet contemporary image of the hotel chain. It is reportedly designed to reflect the hotel’s values of simplicity and subtlety.

Online visitors will be able to explore a variety of rooms on offer and check the room availability in real time, and post testimonials and photographs of their stay. The site is aimed primarily at US and Canadian business and leisure luxury travelers, as well as those in Asia.

The Peninsula’s locations in Asia-Pacific include Hong Kong, Bangkok, Beijing, Tokyo and Manila. It is set to open a premises in Shanghai next year.
