NTT Com Asia calls on Bite Communications to stand out in cluttered ICT space

Bite will be tasked with further expanding NTT Com Asia’s ‘thought leadership’ position and nurturing media relationships in both local and regional information and communications technology (ICT) industries.

Tammy Tsui, director of marketing communications for NTT Com Asia, said Bite was selected because of its unique point-of-view approach and deep industry insights.

NTT Com Asia is NTT Communications’ wholly owned subsidiary in Hong Kong and Macao. In collaboration with its affiliate HKNet, it provides enterprise-class global network, IP connectivity, data centre, cloud hosting, cloud applications and various other services in the region.

NTT's clients include BT Radianz, Bossini and Alibaba. Major competitors include Equinix.

NTT Com Asia's recent announcements include plans to develop a US$386 million (HK$3 billion) data center. The Hong Kong SAR Government recently announced the first cloud standards alliance formed by local ICT bodies, and is looking to rejuvenate the ICT industry as one of Hong Kong’s core competencies.

Reported last year, The Hoffman Agency was NTT Com Asia's incumbent public relations agency-of-record.
