Next Digital wins Tourism Victoria remit targeting China

Next Digital, which has offices in Australia, China, Singapore and Indonesia, won the account tender from Tourism Victoria for the third time in a row.

Next Digital has been Tourism Victoria’s online technology partner since 2006. The agency aided the client in the selection of website technology in 2010, helped create and launch a rebranded VisitVictoria website in July 2011, and in early 2012 completed a usability-testing project in China to guide localisation of the Tourism Victoria website for Chinese visitors.

Stephen Lord, general manager of client services and marketing for Next Digital, said Tourism Victoria chose the agency for its high-quality delivery and experience in overseas markets. Next Digital's team will develop new digital channels to continue positioning Victoria as a leading tourism destination, he added.

"Next Digital has a strong working knowledge of our existing digital capabilities, which puts them in an ideal position to help us expand our digital presence in key growth markets, including China,” said Leigh Harry, chief executive officer of Tourism Victoria.
