Ng, co-founder and former executive creative director of Monsoon Advertising, and Yeo, who has driven marketing for MNCs including IBM, SPH and Lenovo, have collaborated on a start-up called Wild.

Wild counts among its clients blue chip brands including Seagate (Asia Pac), Singapore Press Holdings, NETS, Maybank, Lenovo (ASEAN) and Microsoft. Its work includes the SPH AsiaOne’s newly launched brand campaign.

"The market doesn’t need another ad agency. Businesses need a partner that understands their business and marketing objectives as well as their pain points,” said Yeo, Wild Advertising and Marketing's executive director and head of client services.

Ng, the agency’s managing director and creative director, added, “We provide the full engagement of key managers to ensure the highest quality, originality, thinking and results-driven executions. We believe this is what many clients are crying out for.”

Ng, who built his early career in JWT, BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi, has won accolades and received several awards. However, it was his strategic and creative work for then upstart Monsoon that attracted not just the attention of major clients like SingTel and Cycle & Carriage (Mercedes-Benz), but also Interpublic’s The Lowe Group which later acquired the agency in 2001.

Following his eight-year stint at Monsoon and Lowe, during which time it became arguably Singapore’s most successful independent ad agency, Ng took a break from the ad world and made the documentary feature Feet Unbound, a film about the teenage female soldiers of Mao’s Long March, which has travelled to more than 20 film festivals around the world.

Yeo has held key marketing positions at Singapore Press Holdings and IBM Singapore. Her most recent overseas posting was to Raleigh, NC, USA, where she was worldwide marketing strategist for Lenovo’s consumer business.
