Lowe Thailand bolsters Unilever creative team

BANGKOK - Lowe Thailand has appointed art director Katrina Encanto and copywriter EJ Galang to the creative team on its Unilever account.

Prior to her appointment as senior art director, Encanto was working in Italy as an innovation specialist at food company Barilla. She was previously a creative intern with Ogilvy & Mather Philippines, and later art director at Ace Saatchi & Saatchi and JWT Manila. Her work has been recognised at Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia and The Work.

The agency has also named EJ Galang as the regional senior copywriter. He started his career at Ace Saatchi & Saatchi before moving on to DM9 JaymeSyfu, where he was a senior copywriter for more than five years.

His work has been recognised at the Clios, Cannes, Spikes, AdFest, Australian Writers and Art Director’s Awards (AWARD), New York Festivals, D&AD and The Work.

Speaking of the appointments, Jeremy Hine, CEO at Lowe Thailand, said, “EJ and Kat have real talent and approach work with a truly integrated mindset. They are a team to watch and I am sure will thrive in Bangkok."
