LiveJournal signs with MediaCorp for ad sales

SINGAPORE - LiveJournal, a community publishing platform, has signed an advertising sales representation agreement with MediaCorp.

The Singaporean media company will be responsible for advertising sales and campaign delivery for LiveJournal advertisers in Singapore.

Benjamin Wegg-Prosser, the director of corporate development for SUP, the owners of LiveJournal said, "MediaCorp has been a pioneer in the integration of new media into the advertising portfolio. That, combined with their global perspective, makes them the ideal partner to promote the value of the LiveJournal brand worldwide."

LiveJournal was launched in the United States in 1999 and has registered more than 18 million accounts worldwide. The site allows users to set up their own virtual diary and communicate with friends by posting and receiving comments on each other’s entries.
