JWT Malaysia appoints group account director

MALAYSIA - JWT Malaysia announced the appointment of Uzz Taufek as group account director effective immediately.

In this role, he will be tasked with guiding the strategic development and direction of the office's key accounts including HSBC, Unilever and Friso. Taufek will report to Param Saikia, CEO of JWT Malaysia in coordinating and overseeing JWT's client services in order to meet marketing objectives.

His most recent role was at DNA Comm where he served as group account director and has also worked at BBDO Proximity Malaysia, Re:think and Marcus Evans.

His experience in the industry includes advertising, marketing and branding, events, activation and PR. Throughout his career, Taufek has worked with clients such as P&G, Oracle, Pepsi, Dubai World, Toyota, Siemens and Petronas.

"Coupled with his strong integrated skills, Taufek will be instrumental in bringing JWT Malaysia's offerings to the next level. He will be a perfect fit to the team, with his wealth of talents ranging from brand direction and management, strategic planning, business development, CRM as well as digital and activation," explained
