Isobar promotes Tim Doherty to APAC chief creative officer

Doherty was chief creative officer of Isobar China prior to the promotion.

Tim Doherty has been promoted to chief creative officer, APAC, at Isobar, from his last position as chief creative officer of Isobar China. 

In this newly created role, Doherty will focus on enhancing the creative output of 12 Isobar offices across APAC, as well as strengthening and integrating the creative teams with key disciplines such as strategy, technology, innovation, UX and consulting, the company said. He continues to be based in Shanghai and reports to Jane Lin-Baden, APAC CEO of Isobar.

"I look forward to helping Isobar continue its dominance in achieving impressive business results for our clients through the marriage of digital and data-driven creativity," said Doherty in a release. He first joined Isobar as creative director in 2008 and has worked on brands such as Coca-Cola, Sprite, Budweiser and Huawei. He is also the chair of Isobar's Global Creative Excellence Council.

On Doherty's promotion, Lin-Baden said: "Tim is an extremely passionate creative with a deep understanding of Asian culture, and that creativity is informed by his knowledge of local nuances and business needs, and enabled by technology."
