David Wibowo, president director at iris, said that it has been as "eye-popping" first quarter for the agency, which ventured into Indonesia just last year.

iris Worldwide has been appointed by pharmaceutical company Merck as brand agency for the iron supplement brand, Sangobion, which has been prescribed by healthcare professionals before becoming an over-the-counter vitamin/supplement in 1994.

Cafeboss, meanwhile, has handed the account for “Cafeboss 3-in-1 Coffeemix”, a joint-venture product of Petra Foods Limited, Super Food Limited and CERES.

Telecommunications company XL has also awarded an additional corporate social responsibility campaign to iris Worldwide, adding to the agency’s ATL scope of work.

“I’m pleased with the way we’ve come up to speed, implementing the best of iris Worldwide expertise in social media and digital platforms, going for extraordinary ideas where we can with our clients,” Wibowo said.

The agency's move into Indonesia, in a partnership with the newly minted Nava+ group of brands in November, saw Iris entering its fifth country in Asia, after Singapore, India (New Delhi), China (Beijing) and Australia (Sydney and Melbourne).

This affiliation came after Daya Maha Berkarya (DMB), Advis, Brainstorm and M2M Interface formed a partnership under the Nava+ Group of brands.  It follows DMB's recent split from DDB Worldwide in Indonesia, after a nine-year partnership with the network.
