Insurance Australia invites nation to drive its car

Whybin\TBWA\Tequila has rolled out its debut campaign for Insurance Australia Group (IAG) to highlight the benefits of various comprehensive policies.

Insurance Australia invites nation to drive its car

Under the theme of ‘My car is your car’, the campaign aims to make drivers aware that the policies of IAG insurance brands NRMA, SGIC and SGIO cover any driver of the insured car, even if they are not named on the policy.

The campaign features a central character, Tom, who shares his new car with the all of Australia. An activation component invites licensed members of the public to drive Tom’s car as he travels across Australia.

A competition that incorporates Facebook offers participants the chance to win two Volkswagen Golfs.

IAG consolidated its above and below-the-line accounts with the agency in August. The group includes the NRMA brand in New South Wales and Queensland, the SGIO brand in Western Australia and the SGIC brand in South Australia.
