Holiday Inn | Stay You | Global

Holiday Inn is relaunching with a new global campaign titled 'Stay you' after McCann Worldgroup retained its creative business as agency of record last month.

Holiday Inn | Stay You | Global
The hotel brand’s holding company InterContinental Hotels Group called a review in 2009, and reported afterwards that McCann would stay in charge. Created by the McCann Erickson Manchester office, the campaign is set to premiere on 2 May. More than 2,200 Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express chains have renovated.

‘Stay you’ will debut across nine markets. The TV ad is starting in the UK, US and Germany. Print and online executions will reach Mexico, Latin America, Asia and Australia.

The campaign puts customers in focus, and gives ‘stay’ a double meaning of choosing the hotel and being oneself. Steve Ohler, executive creative director at McCann said: "This year is going to be more of an emotional refresh. We wanted people to feel that Holiday Inn is opening its arms to [them]."

This campaign also marks the hotel chain’s effort to create an integrated campaign from a single ad agency globally. It will also include a social media element in a later phase.
