HK Economic Journal gives exclusive online ad dealership to Pixel Media

HONG KONG - Hong Kong Economic Journal (HKEJ), an established local financial news publication, has appointed Pixel Media as its exclusive online advertising sales network.

HKEJ has entrusted Pixel Media to handle advertising sales for its online domain HKEJ.com. The ad network will also manage the mobile platform for HKEJ’s iPhone and the soon-to-launch iPad app.

“The launch of HKEJ’s iPhone app also marks an important milestone for the company; it extends our reach to users on-the-go as well as reaching new readers. Since its launch in September 2010, the app has been downloaded over 70,000 times,” said Kevin Huang, CEO of Pixel Media, of HKEJ’s mobile platform.

Loh Chan, CEO of HKEJ, also revealed that the company plans to invest heavily into online content. The news publication will also work closely with Comscore to deliver transparency in data presentation to assist HKEJ’s partnership with external advertisers in terms of buying ads on HKEJ.com.
