Former Prudential marketing manager Julie Chiu joins Dairy Farm

HONG KONG - Julie Chiu, most recently regional manager of customer marketing for Prudential Corporation Asia, has joined The Dairy Farm Company's Wellcome as sales and marketing director.

Chiu succeeds Diana Chiu, who left the company after 12 years to join fast-food giant McDonald's as chief marketing officer, effective 9 February.

Chiu has 19 years experience in the marketing industry. Before her short stint at Prudential, she also held senior management roles at Citibank and Shell.

Chiu will be in charge of the sales and marketing for the four business divisions, including Wellcome Supermarkets, ThreeSixty, Market Place by Jasons and Oliver’s The Delicatessen.

Wellcome is the largest supermarket chains in Hong Kong with 281 retail shops. It launched a new marketing campaign titled 'Wellcome home' on 28 March, which celebrates the joy of spending time with your family.
