CWT appoints new executive VP and CFO

A new global CFO for the travel management company.

Global travel management company Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has appointed Michelle Frymire as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective January 21, 2019.

Previously, Frymire served as CFO at a portfolio company of private equity firm Kohlberg & Co. She also served roles at Service King Collision Repair, TruGreen Lawn Care, Starwood Vacation Ownership, Delta Air Lines, Continental Airlines and American Airlines.

“Michelle brings a wealth of experience and skill from a broad industry base. I am delighted to welcome her to CWT and look forward to partnering with her as we continue to execute our CWT 3.0 growth strategy,” said Kurt Ekert, president and CEO of CWT.

In other CWT news, the company launched Predictive Analytics to improve the accuracy of forecasts and provide improved visibility over key travel metrics. The tool will be rolled out across the global database over 2019.
