Incentive cruise trips are one Tiffany & Co. store away from becoming that much more luxurious.

Cruises offer more ultra-luxury retail concepts

Cruise industry retail provider Starboard Cruise Services recently launched a selection of luxury retail concepts for major global cruise ships including Carnival Horizon, Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas and Celebrity Edge.

Some of the retail experiences curated by Starboard are High Tea with Tiffany at Sea, the first Tiffany & Co. store at sea in Asia, which will feature a selection of Tiffany jewelry and accessories and a high-tea set menu with British delicacies.

Ultra-luxury lines Crystal and Silversea will host exclusive fashion trunk shows featuring limited edition apparel collections and appearances by renowned fashion designers.

President and CEO Beth Neumann at Starboard said, “In the retail environment, entertainment doesn’t just mean a water slide or a theatrical show, it’s also about engaging the guest in learning something new, connecting with their fellow cruisers.”

In a 2017 study by the Cruise Lines International Association, a total of 2,086 ships set sail last year, up 25 percent from just five years ago.
