Craig Davis to depart Publicis Mojo

SYDNEY – Craig Davis has resigned from his position as co-chairman and chief creative officer of Publicis Mojo Australia.

According to a statement from the agency, Davis made the decision to “focus on creativity and innovation in a wider business context”. Davis was not available for further comment at press time.

In the official statement, Davis called Publicis Mojo “a formidable creative company with great clients and wonderful people”, but added that he was “passionate about applying design thinking and creativity to some new challenges”.

Davis joined Publicis Mojo in 2009. Prior to that, he was worldwide chief creative officer at JWT.

He will depart the agency in March 2013. The creative department will be led by Pim Van Nunen.

The agency has also appointed Michael Dole, previously of Clemenger BBDO Sydney, as head of art, and Shaun O’Connor, formerly of TBWA, as a creative technologist.
