Catalyst Group adds three members to beef up expertise

SINGAPORE - Singapore-headquartered management and communications consultancy WATATAWA has added three specialists to its strategic think-tank, the Catalyst Group.

The three members are Bruce Weatherill, Ravi Nijhar and Pat Sheehan. Weatherill is the founder of Weatherill Consulting which provides strategic advisory services to private banks, wealth management and investment management firms. While Nijhar is a financial communications consultant with 25 years' experience in markets such as Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Sheehan, meanwhile, has more than 25 years' experience in people and change management strategy throughout Asia- Pacific and the Middle East. 

The move brings together experts and communicators from different specialist fields such as business strategy, marketing, technology, journalism and training to form a more diverse talent group within the think-tank. And these new members will act as extra resources to WATATAWA when clients are looking for new perspectives, compelling analysis of issues or creative sparks.

“Our objective is not just to have the best people working within WATATAWA but to create a collaborative model that allows us to call on expertise as and when it matters to clients,” Bill Rylance, founder and CEO at WATATAWA, said.  “We work across industries, markets and issues and we know that what clients value above anything else is informed opinion and knowledge that allow us to develop and implement strategies that are entirely relevant to the challenges they face.”

The existing members of the group include Jeffrey F. Rayport, an expert on how companies can engage and interact with customers, as well as three times voted outstanding professor from Harvard Business School; Andy Eklund, creative minds and trainer in the strategic communication sector; David Wolf, a Beijing-based strategic consultant and technology specialist; as well as Peter Good, who has 30 years’ experience in the FMCG sector across Europe and Asia.
