Cannes Lions appoints Mark Ringer as direct jury member

HONG KONG - Mark Ringer, executive creative director at TBWA Tequila Hong Kong, has been selected to sit on the direct jury for this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Born in Adelaide, Australia, Ringer's advertising career has ranged from Sydney to Singapore, Melbourne and Hong Kong. He has been in the current position of Tequila ECD since 2007.

In Australia he was president of the Melbourne Advertising and Design Club. Last year he was vice-chairman of the HK4As.

During his career, Ringer has been recognised with many industry awards. Recently, he launched a personal project called 'Postcard philosophy'.

Cannes Lions will take place from 19 to 25 June.
